‘I propose that the purpose of psychotherapy is to set people free. Free from compulsions, as far as possible, to be workaholics, compulsions to repeat self-defeating habits, or compulsions perpetually to choose partners who cause continual unhappiness …’
  - Rollo May
Welcome to my psychotherapy website.

I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapist, and run a private practice from my consulting rooms conveniently located in West London and in South London.

It may be that you are in the middle of a crisis, struggling with difficult emotions, feeling stuck, anxious, lost, confused, and have no one to turn to for help. Or you may be experiencing a general sense of unhappiness, anxiety or dissatisfaction, unsure where these feelings come from and what they mean.
Whether you are facing a specific crisis or are feeling generally low, I offer the opportunity to talk about your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential setting.
My aim, as a therapist, is to listen, and help understand the sources of your current problems and the meaning of what is happening for you.
In our exploration together I will encourage you to share your feelings, reflect on where you are, who you are and how you want things to be.  I will not judge you or tell you what to do, but help you free yourself of unwanted thought and behaviour patterns, and find new ways of coping and moving on.

I work with a wide range of issues including:  irritability, stress, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, loneliness, abandonment, obsessions, loss, bereavement, problems at work, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, eating disorders (bulimia and anorexia), identity crisis, loss of meaning in life, and many others.
